Casio OCEANUS OCW-P3000: Import and Model Guide
A source-checked OCW-P3000 guide covering all three model codes, Japan pricing, radio and app compatibility, the 10-bar limit and what import buyers still need to confirm.
The short version
Japan launch confirmed; an overseas launch is not
Casio will release three titanium OCEANUS OCW-P3000 references in Japan on October 16, 2026. They share the same world-time hardware, dimensions and 10-bar rating. Blue and green cost ¥220,000; black uses a DLC-treated finish and costs ¥253,000. Casio has not yet supplied the non-Japan price, date or warranty route an import buyer needs.
✓ Confirmed
- Casio announced three OCW-P3000 references for release in Japan on October 16, 2026.
- The blue and green versions cost ¥220,000 including tax; the black DLC version costs ¥253,000.
- All three share the same published case size, 99 g weight, Tough Solar power, Multiband 6 and Bluetooth time adjustment.
- The time-zone navigator uses the second hand, city-code ring and rotating 24-hour bezel to estimate the current hour across the printed cities.
- Casio specifies 10-bar water resistance. It does not identify this model as an ISO-rated dive watch.
? Still unresolved
- No official non-Japan release date, local price or country product listing was found in the Casio sources checked.
- Stock, seller allocation and authorized-retailer availability remain unconfirmed, including for Japan before launch.
- Import duties, shipping, returns and local warranty handling depend on the buyer's country and seller.
- Regional CASIO WATCHES app availability should be checked in the buyer's own app store before importing.
- Fit, bezel feel, dial legibility and real-world time-sync performance have not been hands-on tested by Japan Product Radar.
This is a source comparison, not a wear test or endorsement. The release status and specifications below come from Casio’s Japanese announcement, collection page, product pages and support page.
Model decoder
Choose by finish, not by function
Casio lists the same functional specification for all three references. The blue and green models use a titanium-carbide surface treatment. The black reference adds a B in the model code, uses DLC and carries a ¥33,000 premium in Japan. The complete Japanese retail codes end in JF.
Buy the black model only if the black DLC exterior is worth the premium to you. Casio does not list an extra timekeeping, connectivity or water-resistance feature for it.
Compatibility check
How time adjustment works outside Japan
The watch has two automatic correction routes. Multiband 6 can receive compatible transmitters in Japan, North America, the United Kingdom, Germany and China when reception conditions and the home city setting allow it. Bluetooth can set the time through the CASIO WATCHES app on a compatible phone.

Casio’s Japanese compatibility page lists Android 12 or later and iOS 16 or later, with Bluetooth required. That hardware and OS check is not the same as confirming that the app is offered in every regional app store. Check the listing from the phone and country you intend to use before placing an import order.
The time-zone navigator is different from automatic time setting. Holding the 10 o’clock button makes the second hand identify a city in the midnight hour; aligning the bezel marker to that city turns the bezel’s 24-hour scale into an approximate hour guide for the cities printed around the dial.
CACHALOT reality check
This is a 10-bar watch, not a stated ISO diver
Casio’s announcement notes that earlier CACHALOT models included ISO-rated 200-meter dive watches. The OCW-P3000 product pages instead specify 10-bar water resistance, and Casio does not describe this release as ISO dive-rated. The rotating bezel is tied to the time-zone navigator; it should not be mistaken for proof of dive certification.
If ISO dive certification is part of your requirement, the published OCW-P3000 specification does not satisfy it. Compare against a product that explicitly names the applicable dive rating rather than inferring one from the CACHALOT name or bezel.
Fit check
42.9 mm across, but only 99 g in titanium
Casio measures the case at 47.6 × 42.9 × 11.7 mm and the complete watch at 99 g. The published bracelet range is 150–195 mm. Those numbers make it thinner and lighter than its broad case outline may suggest, but they cannot establish comfort on your wrist.
Quick check: compare 47.6 mm lug-to-lug and 42.9 mm case width with a watch you already wear. Then weigh that watch with its bracelet attached and compare it with 99 g.

What to verify before importing
- Match the complete model code.Blue is OCW-P3000-2AJF, green is OCW-P3000-3AJF and black DLC is OCW-P3000B-1AJF on Casio Japan’s pages.
- Treat October 16 as a Japan date.It does not establish stock, delivery timing or an authorized release in another country.
- Price the landed purchase.Add shipping, tax, VAT or duty to the seller’s price before comparing it with a future local offer.
- Get the warranty route in writing.Confirm whether the seller, Casio in Japan or a service center in your country will handle a fault and who pays return freight.
- Check the app before the watch.Install or locate CASIO WATCHES in your own regional app store and confirm phone OS compatibility.
- Verify the return terms.A 150–195 mm bracelet range does not guarantee comfort; make sure an unworn fit return is possible if buying remotely.
The model choice is already clear, but the import case is not. Wait for a seller to state stock, delivered cost, returns and warranty handling rather than treating the Japan announcement as proof of regional support.
